Static posters and billboards are being replaced with video displays gradually. But are those up for the environment and traffic in Hyderabad where there is no enough space for pedestrians? Occupied foot-paths and narrow turnings and mindless drivers making the life on roads unthinkable. Adding to this nuisance MCH gave green signal to these screens thinking as if it's one of development attributes of a metro city. There are such screens on the roads in many countries for many years. But they give respect to the rights of wlakers and provide enough space in the surroundings of screens to watch news and ads. But in the city like Hyderabad, accumulation of few people leads to bottleneck situation. Is it ideal to adopt these things without foresight on the name of develpment?
